THE BEST TEXTS

  In every opening of work for our assisted and welcomed, as well as in the Gospel at Home, a text is always read, be it random and/or chosen.

Therefore, and in response to requests, we provide this space so that we can spread and pollen love and message through the opportunity to have some of them always within reach.

Day of the Dead text:

          “Human beings are strange…

  He quarrels with the living, and brings flowers to the dead;
Throws the living into the gutter, and asks for a “good place for the dead”;

  He turns away from the living, and clings in despair when they die; He goes years without talking to a living person, and he apologizes, pays homage, when he dies;
  He doesn't have time to visit the living, but he has all day to go to the dead man's wake; He criticizes, speaks ill, offends the living, but sanctifies him when he dies; They don't care, they don't hug, they don't care about the living, but they self-harm when they die...
  In the blind eyes of man, the value of the human being is in his death, not in his life.

It’s good to rethink this while we’re alive!”

Tennis X Frescobol

  Relationships are like a game of Tennis or Frescoball. But what is the main difference between the two, since in both games we use balls and rackets?
  In Tennis, the other person is your opponent and not your partner, so the objective is to defeat them, trying to make them wrong. The good tennis player is the one who knows the opponent's weak point, and exploits it to try to defeat him. The pinnacle of Tennis, therefore, is the moment when the game ends because the other person has been thrown out of the game. It always ends with joy on one side, and sadness on the other.
   Frescobol looks a lot like tennis: two players, two rackets and a ball. But for the game to be good it is necessary that neither of you lose. If the ball arrives “half crooked”, we know that the other person did not do it on purpose, and makes the best effort in the world to return it “round”, in the right place, so that the other person can catch it.
   In Frescobol there is no opponent, because the objective is for both to win. Nobody is happy when someone else makes a mistake, because they always want the best for that person, because when they get it right, both win.
   When there is a mistake, the one who made the mistake apologizes and the other also feels responsible for what happened, but they start this delicious game again, where everyone wins.

Marriage, parent-child relationship, friendship, dating, leader-led relationship, teamwork, customer-supplier, siblings, partners, peoples, nations, and so many other levels of human relationships. Imagine if the people involved in each of these relationships decided to move from “playing tennis” to “playing Frescobol”. Our world would be a much better place to live and socialize!
   In this same video, I heard a phrase that summarizes a lot of what I believe and what I preach in my work with leaders: “Everyone can change the world”, and I am really convinced that we will make the world a better and better place to live, as we that everyone, you and I, decide to change the world by “playing Frescobol” in our relationships; whether at home, at work, at the gas station, in traffic, in short, in life.

So, are we going to “play Frescobol”?

Christmas message

   “Christmas is usually a noisy party, there is a lot of noise, it would do us good to have a little more silence, to hear the voice of Love”

   Christmas is you, when you decide to be born again, each day, letting God penetrate your interior. The Christmas pine is you, when you strongly resist the winds and difficulties of life.

  Christmas ornaments are you, when your virtues are colors that decorate life. The Christmas bell is you, when you call, unite, gather, gather people.

   The light of Christmas is you, when you light up with your life the path of others through kindness, patience, joy, generosity.

  The angels of Christmas are you, when you sing to the world a message of peace, justice and love.

  The Christmas star is you, when you lead someone to meet the Lord.

  You are also the wise men, when you give the best you have to the needy

  Christmas music is you, when you can find inner harmony.

  The gift of Christmas is you, when you are truly a friend and brother to every human being.

  The Christmas card is you, when kindness is written on your hands.

  Christmas bliss is you, when you forgive and restore  The  peace even if you are still suffering.

  The Christmas crib is you, when you fill the poor person next to you with bread and hope.

  You are indeed Christmas night, when humble and conscious you receive, in the silence of the night  the Savior of the world without noise or celebrations, you are a smile of trust and tenderness in the peace of a perennial Christmas, which establishes the kingdom in you.

Merry Christmas to all who look like Christmas!

I want to be Christmas, how about you?

Pope Francis
